I had to kick off my Brazil posts by sharing my photos from Iguazu Falls with you. It was one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen in my life. I felt like I was in NeverNever Land with rainbow arches here and there, hundreds of fluttering butterflies, lush green vegetation, and mist rising from the 275 waterfalls in the area.
The Iguazu Falls are taller than Niagara Falls, twice as wide, and spans over nearly two miles of the Iguazu River. These spectacular waterfalls are located on the border of the Brazilian state of Paraná and the Argentine province of Misiones. We visited both the Argentinian side and Brazilian side of the waterfall during our trip. Both sides were spectacular but I preferred the Brazilian side that offered panoramic views that emphasized the grandness of these falls.
We spent two whole days at the National parks just staring in awe at the millions of gallons of water just falling. Our trip to Brazil was a once-in-a-lifetime trip and I can't wait to share more photos with you all!
